The middle special class, Class 9 are limited to 2070cc car engines. Tuning is unlimited but turbos are not allowed. As with Class 8 cars, Class 9 cars make the most of motorsport technology. As well as having tuned engines, the top running cars in this class tend to have race gearboxes and clutches. This means that these cars can become very expensive if you want to run at the top level.

ARD have produced some of the most successful Class 9 cars in the past few years. We can build a Class 9 chassis to fit any of the Class 9 engines readily used such as 'Red Top' Vauxhall's, Duratec Ford's, Honda Type R's etc.
